Benefit Of Oil Pulling-5 Easy Steps

Coconut oil pulling is one of the best ways to remove bacteria and promote healthy teeth and gums! It has taken quite some time, but oil pulling has finally gained some popularity in the North America .Used primarily in Ayurvedic medicine, oil pulling is a fantastic oral detoxification procedure that is simply done by swishing a tablespoon of oil (typically coconut oil, olive or sesame oil) in your mouth for 10-20 minutes.

To be consistent in this protocol, I make Oil Pulling Chews, using a Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade protective blend (OnGuard) essential oil. You can make a batch in no time and keep them in your fridge. It’s best to oil pull on an empty stomach, before brushing your teeth. Many do it while showering or bathing in the morning. I like to pop one in my mouth right before jumping into the shower. By the time I’m out of the shower, I’m ready to spit out the coconut oil.


Half cup of organic and pure coconut oil and 20 drops of essential oil like peppermint, clove, cinnamon etc. I use (OnGuard) (If you are pregnant or nursing then seek the advice of doctor)

Heat the coconut oil on a double boiler (large vessel containing hot water). When the oil just melts add the essential oils of your choice. Mix well. Now pour the mixture in silicon moulds and place it in the fridge/freezer. Once the chews are set remove them and place them in an airtight container. Put the airtight container in the fridge.
