What To Do With Organic Hemp Seeds:

Hemp_milk
I am asked this question all the time. Just last week, I found an article on hemp seeds in Sunfood Nutrition’s newsletter.

Often I’ll have this milk a few times a week. I like to keep my dinners very light, and sometimes this will be all I have for dinner-it’s very satisfying!

Recipe for Hemp Milk
1 cup organic hemp seeds
4 cups filtered water
A pinch of Celtic sea salt
1/4 to 1/2 vanilla bean

Mix all ingredients in a blender, then filter through a nut milk bag. Add 1 to 3 tablespoons sweetener (such as any of the Sunfood Nutrition items: yacon syrup, amber or dark agave, or any type of raw honey).

Add 1/2 cup spirulina and 1 teaspoon of Celtic sea salt to a 10-oz bag of organic hemp seeds. Shake this mixture well and use as a salad topping.

Mix it with olive oil or hemp oil and fresh lemon or apple cider vinegar for a delicious salad dressing. Or eat it straight out of the bag for a high protein snack.

Throw a handful of raw hemp seeds into your smoothie or over your salad for added protein and a delicious nutty flavor.

    Hi Nancy,
I have started reading your program. So I guess you probably think I should give up the plain yogourt I eat with fresh fruit and hemp seeds every morning, but I find it has stabilized my intestines. I should
probably go back to Smoothies. It’s been a while. I KNOW that I won’t be able to get my husband on this program, but at least I can incorporate some elements in his diet without him even knowing. I’m at the part where you start talking about every day’s menu. I will definitely have to pay a visit to the Willow place in Acton to get some stuff. As I said for my husband, even for myself, I don’t necessarily want to give up
everything, but cutting down on meat is not a problem for me. Also, I need to educate myself better with all those new products you talk about that I’ve never heard of.
I would love to have your exercise program. I’m starting yoga on Thursday night. If you want to know Jason better, his site is http://www.Vitalityyoga.com.)
    Take care,
    Nicki
