You know, the body is no more than a machine; and, at one time or another, every machine has to be shut off for a period of time to rest. Don’t you agree?

Even if you’re eating pure, organic, vegan, or living foods, those foods still have debris. So, wouldn’t it be nice to shut off the body’s digestion and elimination processes for one or maybe a few days through a detoxification process?

Instead of focusing on digestion and elimination, that energy could then be directed to other areas of your body like the heart, the head, or your emotional and spiritual states.

Detoxification simply unlocks and releases the energies that normally work to digest and eliminate food down in the stomach and intestines. Instead, these energies are channeled to the heart and the head.

It’s an amazing gift to the body.

What Goes On Inside Your Body When It’s Toxic

It’s important for you to understand what happens inside your body when it’s toxic. Among other things, your digestive, intestinal, and bowel functions slow down, resulting in constipation.

These are complex systems which I cover in more detail in my program. In addition, your circulatory system, overburdened by the surplus toxins, sends everything to the liver, which, in turn, becomes intoxicated and recirculates the blood and toxins throughout the body.

Your overloaded blood is then purified by the kidneys, causing them to overwork in the process of eliminating the toxins.

The toxins are now slowing down many of the body’s systems and processing cycles. Intoxication is now in place.

This toxic cycle will continue to repeat itself unless you take specific steps to stop it. This is why my program works so well. It helps get the toxicity out of your body. It helps to alkalize your body, which helps to detoxify it.

Toxic Chemicals In Food Are Causing Us To Gain Weight

Within the last couple of generations, we have markedly changed the way we consume foods and, at this point, we are setting ourselves up for a great many serious, long term problems.

The nutrients we need are removed from processed foods — basically anything that comes in a box, can or jar.

In place of these essential substances, we add preservatives, artificial flavors and colors — or toxins, which make our bodies work extremely hard to try and detoxify, and even worse, which cause us to gain weight.

Some of the other elements added to our foods that are causing us to gain weight are dangerous trans fats, high fructose corn syrup and neurotoxins such as aspartame.

Chemicals proliferate in our food system as we try and maintain a more functional distribution and production system. Just think of all those pesticides, fungicides, larvacides and insecticides that find their way into our bodies.

Our foods are low in nutrients, but high in calories and chemicals. Through regularly consuming an average diet, you’ll invariably feel drained, pack on weight and be lethargic.

Trying to lose weight is such a problem for people everywhere these days, and here’s one of the major mistakes that I see people making:

As part of my journey to good health, a fan of your website for approximately three years, I had never done a detox.
