Last night I did my first Tele class with the group of Conquer Your Sugar Addiction in 12 days. One focus of this class is my belief that some addictions are due to lack of fulfillment in many areas of our life.
Don’t spend your time waiting for the perfect time to do something you want to do. There rarely is a perfect time to do anything, only a right time, and that time is now. There are too many people dreaming of yesterday or worrying about tomorrow, instead of living for today.
So, this morning I received Jeffery Gitomer’s newsletter. Perfect timing — it’s so fun to read his stuff! He has such a great writing style…really attention-getting!
Here’s what he said today and this is not a COINCIDENCE — it was in my mailbox this morning
When you love what you do, it’s not just self-evident, it’s evident to others. Your enthusiasm is transferable. One of the best saleswomen I ever met talked to me about her love of sales and love of job. She said, “I do everything full force.” Me? I say it a slightly different way, “I strive to do my best at what I love to do.” How do you say it? How do you feel about it?
MAJOR CLUE: Every day your road to fulfillment starts in the bathroom. And every day, whether you realize it or not, you can take the “Bathroom Mirror Test.” All you have to do is ask and answer these 5 critical questions – every day:
- Am I happy on the inside?
- Am I doing what I love?
- Am I doing my best for those I love?
- Am I doing my best for myself?
- Am I smiling?

Hi Nancy,
I’m sorry that I missed the tele class but I will put a note on my bathroom mirror with those five questions written on it.
