A cup of warm water followed by a cup of nettle tea first thing in the morning will get you going in the bowel department.
Nettle is detoxifying and improves the ability of the liver and kidneys to cleanse the blood. It also curbs the appetite and cleanses toxins from the body.
Nettle infusion is a safe, gentle diuretic which is considered restorative for the kidneys and bladder. It’s also recommended for weight loss.
Did you know that: In our bodies, the organs, glands and tissues associated with the winter period are the kidneys, adrenal glands, bladder, and bones.
Stinging nettle herb naturally promotes radiant health. Regular use of a strong brew of nettle tea can:
• help to nourish the kidneys and adrenals
• reduce fatigue and exhaustion
• promote natural energy
• stabilize blood sugar
• reduce allergies
• promote the health of bones and joints
• promote healthy hair, skin and nails
• encourage normal immune function
• clear sinus congestion
• reduce chronic headaches
You can purchase nettle tea in bulk at your local herbal or health food store and add 2tbsp to a small pot of water. Let it gently boil for a few minutes and serve. I usually have two to 3 cups every day.

Nancy,
I used to drink Nettle Tea warm when I did the Master Cleanse but have been brewing it overnight as suggested and drinking it at room temperature the following day. I love it. It is very refreshing.
