If you missed last week’s TeleClass with Jon Barron, we talked about Heavy Metal Detox.
When it comes to heavy metals, there are three clear steps available to you.
Avoid exposure. Say no to new amalgam fillings and, if possible, have a dentist who understands the process replace your existing fillings.
(However, you will need to detox after removal.) Avoid aluminum cookware and aluminum based deodorants. Stop eating high-mercury fish such as swordfish, shark, roughy, and albacore tuna. Filter fluoride and lead out of your drinking water.
Regularly sweep heavy metals from your colon and draw them from the tissue lining the walls of your intestinal tract using a powerful herbal colon detoxifier. (Note: colonic irrigation will not remove heavy metals from your intestinal walls.)
Routinely cleanse heavy metals from your body — since they will not leave on their own. And now, thanks to Metal Magic™, you have an easy, no fuss, inexpensive way to do just that. Continue Reading.
There are a number of metals that can cause problems in varying degrees. These degrees can be acute and chronic, which are the levels the medical community deals with.
They can also be low-level but just as detrimental, which is the level we tend to deal with in alternative health. ‘Heavy metals’ is a term used for a group of elements that have particular weight characteristics.
It is refers to their atomic weight; they’re at the heavier end of the periodic table of elements. Some of them are actually essential for health in trace amounts. You’re talking about things like cobalt, copper, iron, vanadium and zinc.
These are all heavy metals that your body needs. Calcium, actually, is a metal that your body needs. The other ones we’re talking about are nonessential, and they’re harmful if you get too much of them.
You can’t avoid these things. You’re taking in a lot of these just in the foods you eat. Any food that grows in soil will pick up things in the soil. For example, bananas tend to be very high in aluminum. You’re going to get aluminum if you eat bananas.
However, there’s a difference between aluminum that’s organically bound to food and aluminum in a free form, which is the way you get most toxicity.
Some of these heavy metals we’re talking about include things like cadmium, chromium, mercury, lead, and arsenic. Those are the most common forms of heavy metal toxicity that people think about.
What are the signs and symptoms? They vary between the different heavy metals. Again, they vary depending on whether you’re talking about acute and chronic or low-level.
Things like arsenic, for example, a doctor will identify if you’ve had severe exposure because you’ll have things like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. At lower levels, though, what you’re going to get are things like extreme fatigue, confusion, aches and pains.
The other thing is that heavy metals tend to attack the arterial system.
Lead is another one that we’re all aware of. Lead paint was used for so long, and lead is everywhere. When you buy champagne and wine, that foil at the top, most of time, contains lead.
Thus, when you’re pouring your wine, you’re getting trace amounts of lead with it. You’ll get things like hypertension, fatigue, anemia, constipation and, in children, irreversible brain damage.
Mercury may be the number one toxic metal right now that everyone talks about because it is so prevalent in the environment, primarily from the burning of coal. Coal contains a large amount of mercury.
When they burn it, it goes up in the atmosphere and comes down in the rain. It then washes with the rain into lakes and rivers and down into the oceans, so fish get filled with it and it becomes part of the food chain.
We’re all familiar with the toxic fish, and those tend to be the fish higher up in the food chain. Fish that eat other fish tend to concentrate the mercury. We also get mercury through dental fillings.
About Jon’s Formula: Metal Magic™ formula
The formula is a cilantro-chlorella combination, which does two things. The cilantro breaks the electrical bond; it frees the heavy metal. Actually, if you check the urine initially when you’re using the formula, the level of mercury will seem to climb because you’re actually breaking it free from soft tissue; it’s now going into the blood.
What chlorella does is to bind with it and pull it out of the body. Chlorella, incidentally, is what is used in water treatment plants to pull heavy metals out of the water that you’re going to drink again.
It binds with it. What you’re doing is a twofold process: the cilantro breaks the electrical bond, and the chlorella then binds with it and pulls it out. However, when you’re breaking it free from the tissue, you’ll actually notice an increase in the urine.
In fact, that brings us to the two other tests we’re talking about. One is a hair analysis. Hair will actually accumulate, because hair is a living entity and it only grows at the root.
As it grows it will be pulling in heavy metals that are in your blood, depositing them in your hair, and leaving, if you will, a record of it. The hair is not totally reliable. In fact, not one of these tests is reliable by itself.
You have to use them in combination. It can be influenced by other things, like exposure to heavy metals when you’re bathing. Exposure to heavy metals in the air can also get into the hair.
The third kind of test is what’s called a stress or provocation test, which is where they actually give you a chemical chelating agent. It’s also called a challenge test. Usually, the thing they use is called DMPS, which is a synthetic chelating agent.
It will pull some of that mercury out. It’s primarily used for mercury. Then it will show up in the urine. As you’re cleaning mercury out, that will happen less and less.
When you do the challenge test, as you’ve cleaned more and more mercury out, that will go down. Again, if you’re using any chelating agent, initially, even with a challenge test, your mercury levels will seem to climb before they eventually go down.
That’s one of the reasons we recommend that the first metal detox you do should be a longer one. We usually recommend six weeks on the cilantro-chlorella formula.
After that, twice a year for two weeks each time is enough to keep the levels down. You’re always accumulating heavy metals: when you breathe, when you eat, when you drink.

How can I get information about heavy metal detoxing and how to go about it
if I missed the telephone conference. I didn¹t open the e-mail about it
until it was too late.
Thank you.

Nancy thank you for getting an answer for me tonight regarding the night
urination. I will try the protocol Jon gave. I have never stopped drinking
by 6pm.
I was happy to find out more about safe detoxing from Jon, who has the
expertise backing his information. I hope to start his full detox program
this fall. The Metal Magic, sounds like an awesome natural formula.
Your website reminded me of the valuable benefits one can obtain from
learning to incorporate seaweed in to a healthy eating plan, and I am
looking forward to listening to the videos on other subjects, and checking
out your recommended products.
