Spring Tonic Juice

At this time of year I always get excited to juice in the mornings! This week I started adding dandelion in my juice! It’s the perfect herb for spring cleansing and AMAZING for detoxing and beautifying your body from the inside out. And it works perfectly with a weight-loss program.

Dandelion greens help restore damaged tissue and protect against inflammation. They also help cleanse the blood and liver.

Recipe

Ingredients:
1 green apple
½ to 1 whole cucumber
½ to 1 bunch of dandelion greens
½ or less bunch celery
2 inches of fresh ginger root
*If you think the juice is too bitter, just add 2 carrots

Instructions:
Juice the ingredients.

I usually top off the resulting juice with water to make 32 ounces of Spring Tonic Juice.

Can be stored in an airtight glass container (Mason jar) for up to 12 hours. For best results, be sure to buy all organic ingredients, if possible.

Makes approximately 32 ounces.
