If you're eating too much flour, this flourless recipe won't disappoint you, I promise. I’ve been making this recipe for a few years now! It originally came from the first cookbook written by William Davis, MD, author of Wheat Belly.
Black Bean Brownies–No Flour Required
2 Tbsp. cocoa powder ( Organic Raw Cacao Powder)
1/2 cup quick oats
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Combine all ingredients except chocolate
chips in a food processor, and blend until completely smooth. Stir in
chocolate chips, then pour into a greased 8-inch square plan. Sprinkle
extra chocolate chips over the top, if desired.
Cook the brownies 15-18 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes
Makes 9-12 brownies.
