Are You Doing What You Love Each and Every Day

We’ve had such amazing weather! Just enough rain and plenty of sunshine. I’ve been juicing and eating fresh herbs and greens from the garden!

I am so grateful for this opportunity. I know some of you might be  thinking~ this would be way too much work. See, I’m no different than anybody else out there. My life gets crazy and out of balance sometimes!

The difference now is that I’ve stop being a People Pleaser and eliminate energy drains in my life. Certain things in our life just cause us to be more exhausted than others, with less value.

Identify them, and cut them out. You’ll have much more energy and less stress. Just doing this gives me the extra time to contribute to a better planet, helping people and spending more time with the ones I love the most and taking care of my body.

If I don’t ~ who will??

So Here’s the contest this week:

Post your comment below -” Let me know what you eliminate in your life that immediately improve your quality of LIFE.

The most inspirational comment will get a copy of:

Dr Leonard Coldwell: The Only Answer To Stress Anxiety & Depression.”

I have 2 questions….first, what do you do with all the ingredients for the liver and gall bladder cleanse? ie…eat the grapefruit, juice the lemons? And second, what if you don’t have a gall bladder anymore? Mine was taken out 16 years ago. Any hopes of being able to shed my weight without it?

  3. william Says:

    Hi Teresa,

It is interesting to read that you had you gull bladder removed 16 yrs ago, but i might have some news i have heard that it can grow back.

    Hi Nancy!

I’ve eliminated sugar and sweets! I’m also baby-stepping my way to eliminating all other substances that zap my energy: gluten, artificial sweetners (splenda, etc.) I feel better, my energy is going through the roof and everything tastes so good! What I have noticed is that I have been able to appreciate the abundance of what nature has to offer and really enjoy it (the taste, the texture, the smell) because my taste buds are being revitalized. I’ve been inspired to shop organically and love spending time farmer’s markets checking out the different locally grown goods. I feel like I’m helping the community and environment, as well as taking care of myself.

The other huge accomplishment I have undertaken is to transform my life through mentoring women in prison. Had I not taken on learning self-care, I don’t know if I would have much to give these women. They in turn, have inspired me to change my life. I’ve joined Toastmaster, I’m creating a documentary through pictures, videos and writing about my journey and hope to inspire others some day that it’s not too late to take care of yourself.

Thank you so much for providing support & encouragement!!

    Hugs,
    Katrina La Force

I eliminated red meat from my diet. I know this will help me to be Healthier. Yesterday when I was at the big box store, I noticed the long, long line of people in front of the pharmacy and I was haunted by how their hopeless expressions. They resembled people in a prison or some sort of detention…completely lifeless. I do not want to be in this line…ever never!

Nancy, please send me your mailing address. After months, the book I sent you was returned. I would like to resend it. Thank you.

    Blessings,
    Sharyn

    Hi Nancy,

Many thanks for this wonderful video about helping our skin. I am very interested in learning how to naturally maintain my skin and so this is perfect. I will order the ZeoForce powder today. I’ve been dry brushing my body, but never realized it was OK to brush my face as well. I will look for and buy a smaller brush I can use for my face.

I am interested in learning about a natural moisturizer for my skin that I can apply after the mask. Is there a home recipe or natural product you can recommend?

Also, is there a more complete regimen for caring for our faces, or is the mask and moisturizing all we need? I’d certainly be interested in buying a book you may have written or obtaining any other information you can recommend or provide in some way that relates to this.

Many, many thanks for all you do,

    Maria

The things that I have eliminated from my life are all wheat products, dairy, and processed foods. I know that these things were causing me to not feel well. For many years I have suffered with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, but it was very hard to try and figure out what to do instead of eating these products. I use to eat to survive now I eat because it is fun and it tastes soooooo much better. I have wonderful smoothies for breakfast and huge salads for supper. My most recent purchase is a VitaMix blender, which is one of the best purchases of my life. It takes me awhile to make them but it is so worth it. In the process of doing this I have lost 20 pounds without even trying.

The other things that I have done is incorporate the use of good essential oils in my life. It has given me a calmness that I have not felt in many years. This has allowed me to concentrate on my attitute towards things. I have changed my expectations for the people that I love.
All these things have allowed me to become a better person and treat people the way they should be treated. I feel so much better that I am not constantly focusing on how bad I feel or how people have let me down and hurt me.
    I have been truly blessed.
    Thanks,
    Debbie

I’ve eliminated 1 hour of television each evening…during which I go bike riding on a new hybrid bicycle and play the piano…what a treat!
I’ve eliminated feeling guilty about not having the ironing done every weekend!
I’ve eliminated have official responsibilities with two volunteer groups I have been with for years! (Best treat of all!)
I’ve eliminated feeling responsible for all of my husband’s, daughter’s, parent’s, etc.’s challenges and am proud to say that mine have decreased!
I’ve eliminated many e-mail addresses and un-suscribed to all but a few websites with letters about this and that!
I’ve eliminated looking at my e-mail every day….it can wait!
I’ve eliminated not going to that noon time concert to which I’ve been promising myself to do….it’s just across the street from where I work!
    I’ve eliminated…..
What the heck…I’m doing the best that I can and hope my body agrees!

  9. Suzy Says:

This is such a timely article, because just this past weekend my husband and I met with friends that leave us drained and exhausted rather than happy we know them. We talked about this fact all the way home from the visit, and ultimately decided that this was an energy drain that we need to excise from our lives. It’s painful, of course, even though we know it’s the right thing to do.

It’s interesting how worked up I’ve gotten over the years, anguishing over eliminating something from my life, and yet how freeing it ultimately feels to be rid of the things that are draining the life out of me! The foods that make me feel less than great, the activities that seem to be time wasters, the people who seem to just pull me down. Once they are gone, the relief is incredible.

It’s time to re-access other areas that I have allowed to drain energy! Thank you for this reminder!

  10. Pam Says:

Hi Nancy, looking forward to more of your great advice! All I know is that once I had eliminated sugar, I was able to think more clearly which is a huge benefit for me considering I make decisions all day long. Life has taken on a whole new perspective because of this!

    Thank you!

  11. Delta Waters Says:

instead of focusing on what i can, do and will eliminate from my life, i try, instead, to focus on what i am bringing into my life, what i chose daily that is nourishing, strengthening and joyous. it is a small change in semantics bu seems to make me feel abundant rather than reduced.

  12. Linda Says:
