Most people hop out of bed in the morning and grab a coffee – often sweetened and thickened with cream – then look around the kitchen for more sweetness, figuring that’s the energy boost they need to start the day. Unfortunately, for most of us, that craving for “sweet” doesn’t leave much room for vegetables. And chances are, if you’re not starting your day with a sweetened coffee and a doughnut, you’re grabbing a big glass of fruit juice. Why aren’t we thinking vegetables instead?

Thanks Nancy. I enjoyed “start your day with juicing”. I get mixed messages about drinking what you juice immediately to get the most benefit and drinking the juice during the day. Can you please comment on this. Thank you. Nola

Hi Nancy,
I love the video.
Kim and I are definitely juicing green leafy veggies every morning.
Will you be adding a video that shows how to grow sunflower sprouts? I’m having difficulties growing them.
Thanks

Loved the video.
My juicer has sat in the kitchen untouched for weeks but your video has inspired me to get it into my daily routine, especially as we have kale, beets, carrots and other goodies in our veg patch in the garden.
Would love to learn more about sprouting, not just for juicing but for general use in salads etc.
Best wishes

Hello Nola, The juice may be refrigerated for up to 24 hours when they are sealed, yet the value of the oxygen, enzymes, phytochemicals, hormones, and nutrients they contain will
diminish dramatically. Adding lemon juice will help as well.
For the average Person’s schedule, I would suggest that green drinks be consumed as a breakfast juice, as a mid-morning snack, and again as an afternoon snack.
hope this answer your questions.

Andre, we are working on this one! will get a video soon.
A really good book to get on how to grow your sprouts would be “The Sprouting Book”:
from Ann Wigmore:
How to Grow and Use Sprouts to Maximize Your Health and Vitality.

Ali, Go for it. Can you imagine now the power and nutrients you’ll get from those fresh veggies from your own garden.
This is really the way to go.
Will get some video’s on sprouting soon.
Thanks for sharing.

Nancy
i have a juicer ready there to start my way to a healthy life ,but I need a little extra push,it´s not easy after eating so much sugar for such a long time.
I live in Argentina and dont know where to get the fresh dandelion leaves, is it the same having it as tea???
What if I start the day witha carrot, apple and ginger juice? Would this be a healthy start?
thanks

Hello Veronica, Congratulation! I suggest dandelion if available in your area….don’t worry!
I would replace carrots with Celery if you can. This will be more effective, and you can still have one carrot
if you like.
let me know how you are doing with your juicing!
