When I think of juice, I think of GREEN JUICE.
I know most people hop out of bed in the morning and grab a coffee – often sweetened and thickened with cream – then look around the kitchen for more sweetness, figuring that’s the energy boost they need to start the day.
Unfortunately, for most of us, that craving for “sweet” doesn’t leave much room for vegetables.
Why aren’t we thinking vegetables instead? Perhaps it’s the stress of consuming five or more servings a day – what everyone from our doctors to the government’s food guidelines recommend! Or maybe it’s the thought of the after-effects of eating so many vegetables. Read More

Engaging in a cellulite or fat cleansing process through diet and exercise may be the best way to get you started on attacking that cellulite and eating healthier.
Your overall health and also begin the process of ridding your body of that ugly cellulite. All you have to do is change your lifestyle in simple and positive ways:

Raymond Francis, MIT graduate and expert in vitamin science explains sugar’s addictive qualities: “Animal studies show that regular consumption of sugar causes long-lasting changes in brain chemistry, similar to those caused by street drugs such as cocaine or heroin. These changes mean that even a single expo-sure to sweet, salty or fatty foods will change gene expression, stimulating opioids in the brain. These pleasure chemicals are addictive.” READ MORE
“Caffeine’s addictiveness, in fact, may be one reason why six of the seven most popular soft drinks contain caffeine” reports the center for science in the Public Interest. It’s easy to become hooked if you’re exposed to caffeinated beverages early on.
With the addition of soft dink machines in elementary and junior high schools, and coffee shops on every corner, we are creating a nation of people that are physiologically dependent on this addictive toxin.
Drinking caffeinated beverages can dehydrate the body and interfere with digestion. Caffeine also interferes with the absorption of magnesium, which is critical in maintaining regular, healthy bowel movements.
Coffee over-stimulates the digestive system and can induce a temporary laxative effect, causing the bowels to expel waste before it’s had the chance to process and utilize vital water and nutrients. READ MORE

Drink water before and after your meal. Do not drink liquids during a meal. Excess liquid will dilute the digestive juices that you will need to break up the food. Choose soothing warm drinks such as hot lemon water or herbal teas, or drink room temperature water.
Chew each bite thoroughly – your stomach doesn’t have teeth! Be mindful of your eyes being bigger than your stomach. Your best bet is to leave the table only three-quarters full. That will leave you content and energized, perfect for conversing with your loved ones. READ MORE

Here are ten important behaviors you can apply now so that you’re prepared and ready to face the stress and challenges that may come your way this holiday season.
1. Take some time to reflect on what you learned, how you grew, what you accomplished. Begin to think about where you would like to be at the end of 2010.
2. Apply what you learned in exercise 1 and write your goals for New Year’s now. Don’t wait until December 30. Something magical happens when you physically write down your goals and dreams. It breathes life into your hopes and paves the way to make them a reality.
3. Speak powerful words: Don Miguel Ruiz mentions in his book, The Four Agreements, “Be impeccable with your words and use the power of your words in the direction of truth and love.” Even if you’re surrounded by ungrateful houseguests or overwhelming relatives, use the power of your words with positive intention.
