Weight Loss Elixir: A great spicy cleansing drink for the Holidays: Help detoxify against excessive caffeine
- Four grains of cardamom: Help detoxify against excessive caffeine.
- Four peppercorns: Antispasmodic, Digestive, Diuretic, Warm, Muscle Relaxant, Circulation
- Three cloves: warming and promote proper digestion
Grind cardamom peppercorns and cloves.
Fresh ginger~ to taste: Warming and immune-enhancing properties
Cinnamon ~to taste: Warming, promotes digestion and is beneficial for diabetes
Put in a saucepan and add fresh Ginger and Cinnamon cover with 300ml of water and simmer for twenty minutes. Before turning off the heat, you can add a pinch of organic green tea, When drinking, you may add a little raw honey.

I have a pot on the stove now and it smells amazing! I didn’t know peppercorns were muscle relaxants. That is good to know.

What do you mean by 4 grains of Cardamom. I have whole Cardamom pods. How do I convert to grains? When I make Chai, which this basically is, I use whole pods.

Thanks so much I am a caffiene addict. I drink aprox 1 pot daily by myself. half in the morning Ice it in the evening like it black. But I know a little is good too much probably not so good. anyway’s turned 51 this yr. trying to do the “right thing” you know eat right excercise. so will for sure try your recipe. thanks so mcu for the info!!
