Getting the Toxins Out: A body Cleanse Can Eliminate Addictions

Unless you are living in a sterile bubble, your body becomes more and more toxic with everyday living.

Eating cooked and processed foods, breathing unclean air and drinking less-than-pure water is the norm for most. It’s a fact of our modern society.

A body cleanse can eliminate addiction, bad habits and unhealthy thought patterns. During a cleanse, the brain recovers its natural sensitivity to simple foods. Salt, sugar, fats and processed foods become naturally unattractive.

Although we might think of intoxication as the result of having one too many glasses of wine at the company Christmas party, in this instance, becoming toxic, or intoxication, is the result of absorption, retention, or development of toxins in the body.

These wastes and residues can weaken the proper function of your body, or even injure or damage vital organs as they build up in your system.  Intoxication can be moderate, middling, or severe, depending on the severity of the toxins, how much is being stored in your body, and how long you’ve been holding these toxins inside.

Unfortunately, there are several ways you can become toxic:

Consuming processed foods contain chemical agents, Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO), food preservatives, food coloring, etc.

  • Constipation
  • Over-consumption (overeating)
  • Eating late at night – within two to three hours of bedtime
  • Lack of sleep – whether it be insomnia, night work, or just not setting aside enough hours for sleep
  • Sedentary lifestyle – sitting at the computer or in front of the TV too much with no regular exercise
  • Water – not getting at least eight glasses of water a day_
  • Exposure to toxic environment – air, water and noise pollution, magnetic field, tobacco, radiation (from sun, X-rays, microwaves, etc.)
  • Emotions – too much stress or not dealing with your stress, overworking, anger, resentment, sorrow, emotional shock
  • Drugs – auto-medication overdose, hard drugs
  • Aging and congestion and exhaustion in your organs of elimination

When you’re toxic, what happens to your body?

Your digestive, intestinal and biliary functions slow down resulting in constipation. Your circulation system, overburdened by the surplus of toxins, sends everything to the liver, which in turn also becomes intoxicated and recirculates the blood (toxins and all) throughout your body.

Your overloaded blood, which is purified by the kidneys, causes elimination overwork and the kidneys are slowed down. Intoxication is now in place, and the toxic cycle repeats itself unless you take steps to stop it.

Look for these possible signs and symptoms that your body is toxic:

  • Constipation and diarrhea
  • Slow digestion
  • Edema (swelling)
  • Overweight
  • Frequent colds and flu
  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)
  • Gastric reflux
  • Cholesterol
  • Bloating and flatulence (gas)
  • Bad breath
  • Headaches
  • Constant fatigue
  • Sleep disorders
  • Muscle pain
  • Skin problems
