Saturday in the Toronto Star Newspaper their was an article about our lifestyle. “Four years ago, the couple bought an attractive home on a secluded lake and vowed they, too, would live off the grid and become more self-sufficient in every way. They installed a wind turbine and solar panels and have no trouble generating enough electrical power to run their home. Because the house is of traditional construction, they need three wood stoves to heat its 2,000 square feet of space.
