I’ve been using the mini-trampoline for over 20 years. The trampoline is an important part of my exercise routine, together with yoga, swimming and walking. It’s give me a great, well-rounded workout.
The trampoline was rated by NASA as the #1 most effective exercise that also promotes lymphatic drainage in your body. The trampoline not only helps your lymphatic system, but it also burns calories and opens up your elimination route. It actually massages the organs in your body too, as you go up and down. The trampoline can:
- Improve the body’s immune system.
- Build muscle strength.
- Reduce body-fat percentage.
- Boost metabolism.
- Align and strengthen the spine, plus make it supple.
- Lighten menopausal symptoms.
- Lessen premenstrual symptoms.
- Help relieve the discomfort of arthritis and other aches and pains.

"He who has health has hope; and he who has hope has everything."
-Arabian Proverb
by Ellen Cutler DC
I believe that the most critical area that is overlooked when facing imbalances in the body, such as obesity1, allergies, depression, etc., is that most people do not digest their food properly. Chronic health problems are the result of food allergies due to poor digestion.
Under optimal conditions, the human body is capable of producing the necessary enzymes to digest food and to facilitate its absorption of nutrients. However most of us in the modern world do not live under optimal conditions due to a toxic environment, unhealthy habits and lack of exercise. Therefore, most people in our society suffer from digestive disorders, which when not treated, lead to further health challenges.

Here’s an insert of the interview I did with Raymond Francis in February, when we talked about toxins.
The most important thing of all is to eat a good diet and minimize the toxins in your life. If you do this, the cells will self repair, and that’s the most important thing of all. People don’t understand how it
all works, and that’s why I explain it very simply in Never Be Sick Again.
Each cell in your body is really a vast industrial park with thousands of factories, hundreds of power houses, warehouses, distribution centers, raw material delivery systems, waste disposal systems, computers, security systems, communication systems.
Every cell is a vast industrial park, and we’re all made of these little units of life called cells. We think of ourselves as a thing.
We’re not a thing. We all started life as one cell Read more

I interviewed Dr. Group last week on Health Begins in the Colon – we talked about what he considers constipation:
Here’s what he had to say.
One
bowel movement a day definitely would be considered constipation, but
two to three bowel movements a day would be really good. Now, one of
the important things, is of course bowel movements, but I tell people
that we live in a toxic environment; and even people who are complete
raw vegans still have difficulty with their bowels due to the amount of
toxins that they get through the air, the environment and stress.
My
main point is that you have to give your intestines a shower on a
regular basis too, just like you give your skin a shower. Just after a
day of walking around in a crowded city area, you’re going to feel
pretty filthy, especially if you go to sleep without taking a shower at
night. If you go three or four days without taking a shower, you’re
going to have an accumulation of dirt on your skin. You take a shower
every day to wash all that off.
What people don’t do is give
their intestines a shower on a daily basis, even though their
intestines are exposed to a million more toxins than their skin. Read more

From: Nancy Desjardins R.N.C.P.
All of us have our own special relationship to food. We use food to satisfy our physical hunger and sometimes to quell our emotional hunger as well. While there is no shortage of diet books and new fitness equipment, the problems of being overweight and obese continue to grow with the number of people being affected by these serious but prevent-able conditions. WHAT IS EMOTIONAL EATING?
As we learn more and more about why we eat and why we choose the foods we eat, we begin to understand how our emotions play such an instrumental role in our health. Ac-cording to Roger Gould, M.D, Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA and author of “Shrink Yourself: Break Free from Emotional Eating Forever,” emotional eating can most simply be defined as eating to satisfy emotional hunger.

I’m still juicing dandelion first thing in the morning!
My husband bought a case of organic dandelion from the city last week – can you imagine the explanation at the cash register? What on earth are you planning to do with one case of dandelion?!
We are so immune to being questioned all the time regarding our food choices (:)) at the store.
Dandelion is starting to grow now, so we should be able to pick our own this week.
This is the time of the year to Go Wild and add some in your salad and blended soup. Your liver will thank you!
If you have a juicer – go for it. Juice 1 cup of dandelion juice every morning. Dilute 1:1 with water. This is such a great and inexpensive way to cleanse your liver! One cup might be too much for newbies!
start with 1/3 cup of juice and work your way up.
As a bitter tonic, dandelion helps the liver and gall bladder produce bile for better assimilation.
